Tomorrow is the test! :|

Tomorrow is the Astronomy test. I'm nervous!!! I am taking a quick break from studying and blogging about my day. Work was crazy!! I want to hit all those procrastinators that are horrible and don't get their books a month before Christmas. They make so much work for us at Barns and Noble. The ones I think are funny are the ones that act like we should know just the book they are looking for even though they themselves don't have the title, the author or even what the book is about. It cracks me up sometimes how many people act like we should know every book every published in every store in American. HA!

So when I left there was a massive stack of books at the Customer Service desk waiting for the replacements. I felt kind of bad...okay only for like one second though. HEHEHE!

Okay. Back to studying. Wish me luck!!

An A on Ethics and Values!!

I took my Ethics and Values final today and guess what? I got an A! How exciting is that? So it looks like that class and my Eng. 2010 class and my American Lit class I'll have A's in but we'll have to wait and see on my Astro 1040 class. The review went well, but as the questions got to later chapters, I seemed to have forgotten more and more. So it looks like I will need to study quiet a bit in the last few chapters to make sure I get a good grade. We calculated what I would need to get on the final to have an A in that class and it was a 93.2% to pull my grade from the 86.8% it currently is at. We shall see.

Loves,
Hayley

Harry Potter

So Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out today and Weston won't let me go get it. I have to wait until Christmas. Blah! I am neither a patient or calm person and I really would like to have it today, now, yesterday would have been better. But because I love him and I want him to be happy, I will not go get it. Oh well...I guess I can wait a few weeks to watch the movie.

I didn't work out today. Well, thats not that big of a suprise, but I am trying to loose weight so, getting up in the morning is imperative. But Weston is making some homemade black beans and they are really good, but I just learned something. Do not open a pressure cooker when it is still pressurized. So this is what happened.

Weston leaves for school and I sit down to finish writing my blog and get to my paper when I hear this really strange sound coming from the kitchen. So I get up to check it out, and find the cooker is over flowing with black water. So I don't know what to do as I have never dealt with a pressure cooker before. So I freak and open the cooker because stuff is coming out everywhere. What happens when you open the can of a largely pressurized container? It explodes! Big Suprise! So I screach and yell and drop everything and push my hands under cold running water. The I call Weston and nearly yell at him. Just because I burned myself. Yea that's a good idea.

So now there is black water and sludge on the floor, ceiling, walls and stove. Yea, now my hands are burning and its hard for me to type. It's annoying!

Holy posting

I haven't posted since October? Holy crap! So there are quiet a few things that have happened since then. Trevor got married to his solemate the week before Thanksgiving and we couldn't be more happy for them. They are so cute and work so well together, its like God hand picked her for him. This is the last week of school. YEA! I am so excited! And then there is almost 3 whole weeks of no school before the next semester starts. This semester I should end pretty strong. Mostly A's and B's. Both my English classes I will get an A in and in my Ethics class should be an A or A- and then my Astronomy class should be a B or B-. Its been exciting, but I am already tired of school. And money is always a problem. But recently more so. We thought we had $500 in our savings account and it turned out to be a banking error. So instead of getting Weston and really great present, we get to do a dollar store christmas. But it's not about what we get eachother, but the time we spend together.

So Christmas is going to be fun. We're spending it with my family and together. We're going to hang at my family's for Christmas Eve and then have Christmas morning together. We're trying to get together a tradition for our family that neither Weston's or mine already do. I think we should make cookies, like sugar cookies and chocolate chip and peanut butter and chocolate. But we'll need to find the recipes.
